Re: question regarding patches

I'm hesitant on releasing patches if Gerald is refusing patches.  I 
will be posting a few utility scripts that should help in the usage 
of ubh.   
 
I'm posting one in a few minutes that will purge the headers and 
xref_headers tables of articles of a certain date and before.  The 
first time I ran it, I found over 800,000 old rows in the headers 
table.  It is a script I threw together in about 10 mins so be 
kind...since it works I'm too terribly interested in making it user 
friendly right away. 
 
% ./age_articles -d 09-21-2004 
 *** Purging articles 2004-09-21 and before 
 ***   Total # of articles to purge 50791 
 *** Purging complete
