I'll try this, but considering both the internal yEnc decoder and the
external yDec decoder i've tried won't decode it, I doubt this will
either.

Everything that's required i've updated, News::Newsrc, Net::NNTP,
IO::Stringy, etc. The only thing I couldn't work out how to install
was 'the MailTools distribution', however, if this is in any way
related to anything begining with Mail::, then they're all up to date
anyway.

Nope, both machines are using ubh-2.5
