Thus I am reluctant to accept anyone else's work. If you think you can improve the speed of ubh by **removing** code (and indexes), by all means, show me what you have. I've changed either hard drives or computers 3x in the past year and haven't revived my CVS setup. I have a few commits to make (eg, handling subject headers greater than 256 chars), but nothing major. The last time I tried to do a commit SourceForge's CVS server was offline (for several days, if I recall). MySQL has been working very well for the past many years. What would be the compelling reason(s) for moving to a different database engine? As far as disk space checking is concerned, multi-terabyte RAIDs are very affordable, why bother? Unless you are downloading questionable material into a size-limited encrypted filesystem.
