if I have some time, I will dig into this, probably caused by bad
header (duplicate file), cure could be a check before or a catch
during.

Maybe a filter program to run the headers through to look for certain
characteristics:
--member of a series (regex here? mysql loves 'em)
--favorite posters
--etc.
& apply a weight based on rules applied
UBH then does the select with an ORDER BY based on these weights,
download in that order. Across news groups.
That would be not only the coolest in the realm, but would allow us
to suck down what we want, toss the rest.
(Maybe I even build some kind of interactive interface (TK?) to allow
selection of those that fall out of the rules for later download.)
Maybe an idea is to add a "weight" column to the headers table,
update the select in UBH with an:
$stmt .= "GROUP by h.header_id ORDER BY h.weight,h.subject";
