Sync only files with a particular file extension

I'm trying to set up a profile to keep all of the files within a directory tree ending in .Rda in sync between computers, but can't find a good way to do this using unison (which I have used for decades for keeping my home directory in sync).

Why do I need to do this? Well..., I do most of my work on two different computers and use github to keep the programming code in sync. However, this is not an option for the output files since they tend to exceed github's file size limit and, even if that weren't an issue, would eventually cause the repo to exceed githubs repo size limit.

I've found two threads related to this need to sync based on file extensions on non-unison help forums ((https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://superuser.com/q/1233998/651940__;!!IBzWLUs!TwcGwt6EyiprrQTAOLfY4LoaXpFWL97QgJl4Gvd1qv94CIfm-HkvjsUInPBBxHumPRenvCwmYt1631gdlVQ89w$ ) and (https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://superuser.com/q/383376/651940__;!!IBzWLUs!TwcGwt6EyiprrQTAOLfY4LoaXpFWL97QgJl4Gvd1qv94CIfm-HkvjsUInPBBxHumPRenvCwmYt1631j1f3WKXg$ )), but neither provides a working solution.

Can anyone there suggest a solution?

Much obliged,

Mike
