Corrupted file names

Hello,

I have been using successfully for a few weeks to synchronize Ubuntu
22.04 computers through a removable SSD. I just noticed that at some
point the file names of at least two files have apparently been
corrupted by unison: for example the file /Observations des lions PNNK
cumulatif_rev4a.xls/ is recorded as ./unison.Observations des lions PNNK
cumulatif_rev4a.xls.02283280a46edf3c6750c7162ae3e55f.unison.tmp/. The
modification date on the files seem to be that of the sync rather than
the original date. If I rename to the original name the files seem
intact and read normally. Could someone please explain? I don't believe
that I interrupted a sync in progress but this would always be possible.

Thanks and best regards,

     John
