Hidden flag set on SMB server

I'm using Unison 2.53.3 on Windows 10, trying to sync a local folder to our 
SMB server, which is mounted as the X: drive. When I do this, any files and 
folders that are newly created at the top level of the sync have the Hidden 
flag turned on (no, the originals were not hidden). I've tried messing with 
the xattrs and xattrignore options, but they don't seem to help.
