release candidate source and CI artifacts available

There are a bunch of accumulated fixes since the last release, so I am
declaring the current state of master to be 2.53.5RC1.  I'm not tagging
it because I don't see that it helps and it's just noise in the repo
later.

The big change is that in repeat mode, unison will no longer attempt to
continue after errors.  There are just too many kinds of errors and too
many complexities about doing it right.  Pending figuring that out,
unison should just exit.   Please test if you use repeat mode and let us
know if it doesn't simply cleanly exit if e.g. the ssh connection breaks
or the remote machine reboots.

Please test from git, specifically this commit
