Is it possible to install > version 2.52 (or newer) on my system? The mint people should answer this question as 2020 is a really long time ago, and it just doesn't make sense to be running code from them. Unison the project does not support random distributions shipping out of date code; we merely say "don't do that". You might also upgrade to the latest Mint. If the latest is really based on ubuntu 20.04, then it seems unmaintained and you probably should do something different. The source code is available can you can build it. Also there are some CI binaries which might be useful. There is a wiki: https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://github.com/bcpierce00/unison/wiki__;!!IBzWLUs!W_4UhFC7O5FVzzEj5E5QDG7fMcD4Kide0o48CyciyytzQD54kZ07SkS3YqdGwnPUCBru5dSciitowbnDGQ$ It isn't big, but it has evolved to answer a lot of common questions, like yours.
