calls unison with two roots.

I was merely pointing out that I think we have an open issue, and I am
pretty sure we've discussed it, to have a default profile name that will
be read even when there is no profile, or before any profile, to set up
options for all unison invocations.   Right now that requires manual
work as you say, and it means that operating without a profile needs to
be converted into a profile, or to have the contents converted into
command-line options and added to the invocation.
