1) So far there have been no problems reported against 2.53.8a2. There are likely to be various minor changes but I don't anticipate anything significant -- so 2.53.8 will probably look like 2.53.8a2. If you haven't tried it yet, please do. 2) Two updates to issue tracker guidelines: ocaml 5.4.0 appears to no longer have the 'not ready' label that earlier ocmal 5 does, so it's now ok to file bugs that Unison doesn't build/work with Ocaml 5.4.0 or later, with a caveat: You must have tried to reproduce with 4.14 and explain if the problem occurs there too, or that it doesn't. That will let us be clear from the beginning if it is an issue specific to ocaml 5, which is both a huge clue about the problem, and lets people who don't want to deal with ocaml 5 not deal with it. Bug reports are only accepted for maintained operating systems. It's not a Unison bug to fail to build on Sixth Edition UNIX from 1977! It was simply an oversight not to have said this earlier, as I didn't anticipate retrocomputing issues. (Clean PRs are welcome to improve Unison on unmaintained/ancient systems.)
