The * shell glob would do some opendir() and readdir() for whatever of the=
=20
both loops before it runs a ls or stat on the contained files.
I'm not sure either if disconnecting and switching networks will give the=
=20
same test scenario like weak mobile links which I can't easily emulate if=
=20
not running some of these tests all the day in background.
