unison constantly exiting with Error: Protocol error: corrupted message received;

Hi!

I've been using unison for a while to keep some files syncronized. In 
this case it is a FreeBSD base packages repository between a build 
machine and a server.

Starting today it is failing with this strange error:


Synchronization failed at 13:15:08 due to a fatal error


Error: Protocol error: corrupted message received;
if it happens to you in a repeatable way,
please post a report on the unison-users mailing list.


I know this is not helpful but looks fully repeatable, so I can help 
debug it, if guided.
