0.99.0 released

All, 
   It's been awhile, but I've been swamped at work.

The first release candidate for 1.0 is on the ftp server, in both rpm
and tar ball form. Please test the rpm if you could.

There are extra/updated instructions in the docs's directory, including
the files you would need to build your own up2date/rhn_register packages
tailored to your server. As a result of this, there is no longer a
"current-client" package. 

There were several code changes that made this a release candidate.
Please test.
