All, After basically a hard week of debugging, John and I believe we've found (and fixed) a number of critical bugs in the database code in 1.0. 1.0.2 contains at least 3 big fixes, all centered around multi-arch packages and how to deal with them during database creation. Please upgrade, and yes, you will need to re-create your databases. I apologize for this - I had hoped all 1.0.x releases would be db compatible, but this time the bug was in the db code itself. The BitKeeper tree is about to go up - when its actually working and downloadable, I'll post a separate announcement here. If anyone is interested in keeping the shelve implementation alive (IE, the way current stores its data now) after the sql patch is included, please speak up. John, Toby and I have put a large amount of work into the sql work, and I personally am beginning to hate the shelve backend. -- Hunter Matthews Unix / Network Administrator Office: BioScience 145/244 Duke Univ.
