        AFAIK, we plan on staying with a 1.5 base through 7.3 simply
because that's the default. When 8.0 releases, we'll start work on
moving to / working with Python 2.x. Rawhide is more often broken than
not, and skipjack is a beta, so I personally don't plan on doing any
Current development on either. I'll stick with 7.2 until 7.3 is
released, and probably for a while thereafter. I don't want something
underneath me breaking, causing a false break in my dev work.

        Wanna help me try to figure out how to shove a binary data
stream out a mod_python handler?  Request.write() expects a string,
which ain't binary. Something doesn't like me.

        Seriously, tho, the highest priority for me is mod_python,
followed by finishing the SQL work (and forward-porting all 1.0.x
patches / bugfixes to the 1.1 series), followed by non-anonymous
support. I /think/ those are Hunter's priorities as well, but he's
working more on client-side stuff while I fight with mod_python.
