        I'm not sure which is the issue, but in my testing I found that
a 7.3 system will not accept compressed list information or header
information from either the 1.0.x series or the development version I
was testing for Apache / mod_python, but would accept data in
non-compressed form.  I'll admit that there may have been something
strange in what I was trying to do, but everything I looked at was
telling me "Don't send me compressed data, dinkus!" so I decided to
listen, and it seemed to be happier.  :)
