The snapshot up on the ftp site (and in bk) is 1.4.1 + up2date v 2.8/3.0
support.

up2date 3.0 is whats in Red Hat Linux 8.0. 2.8 is that backported to 7.x
RHL. 

Whew - version soup.

Anyway, this is a snapshot, and seems to work for me in the simple case.
This does not in any way imply that current itself will work with RHL
8.0 as a server.
