I have a setup that sounds very similar. I'm running Current on a RedHat 7.3 box. I did the OS install from CD, copied the 7.3 and 8.0 trees to it, which consist of the OS install RPMs and any updates from updates.redhat.com. I installed the latest Current snapshot and then used the Current server to install all the 7.3 updates on the server itself. Worked like a charm. After running up2date a few times successfully, I started getting errors. Running rhn_register again fixed the problem for me. I didn't think to save the errors because I thought it was just some random weirdness on my box. This same Current server has been working with a handful of other 7.3 and 8.0 boxes without a hitch. Anyway, have you rerun rhn_register? Maybe it would help. Woogie
