which up2date for RH8?

Hello,

I read all the archives and i am not sure i got it right: To get a 
RHL8.0 box working with current (snapshot 20021011) do i need to 
downgrade up2date to version 2.8 ? or should up2date 3.0.7-1 works?

Each time the RHL8.0 box tries to connect to the server i get the 
following errors on the server:

[Fri Oct 18 09:26:46 2002] [notice] Inside the PythonHandler
[Fri Oct 18 09:26:46 2002] [notice] Result = <Fault 1000 """No 
compatible channels found for client: login()""">

in the current.conf file on the server, the RedHat-8.0-Channel is setup 
properly...

any idea?

rhn-applet could be usefull too, my users have been asking for it... any 
  hope for current to support it soon (or later) ?
