RE: User Poll

1) There have been posts describing dependancy problems that worry me since
I spent a lot of time cleaning trees in <= 1.0.4
2) 1.0.5 appears to work OK on RH 7.2, but there have been concerns with 1.4
3) I'm concerned with 500 concurrent active connections to the server with
1.4 (whereas 1.0.5 inadvertantly works really well because of the single
threading) [suggestion - have the cron.daily script have a randomized
minute]
4) Indeed, we're setting up another 200 servers and I don't really have the
time right now
