I have 50 7.0 machines, 60 7.1 machines, 8 7.2 machines, 15 7.3 machines and
10 8.0 machines. The Current server has a filthy tree. So far, all but one
have sucessfully updated on the most recent snapshot. This odd duck doesn't
produce an error but is clearly out-of-date and yet the client says the
system needs no updates.

Not a bad success rate, all-in-all, though.

I used the 1.0.5 version for a while and it works great but (no offense
to the old code) I trust apache a lot more to be the server than the old
code. I've used it for years. For those of you worried about
configuring it, it is just adding one line to the standard RH apache
config. I see no reason to backport or downgrade.
