Current currently doesn't store any state, that's the next big thing
Hunter and John will be working on.  Also really usefull information is
on the client, especially if something has gone badly wrong.

However up2date does log to /var/log/up2date, you could use logrotate
/etc/logrotate.d/up2date to use the mail directive to get the logs from
your clients, especially if you are packaging up2date with an
appropriate certificate.
