I have code in 2.5 to "silence" these messages. We feed nothing back, so
they're useless at this point, but shipping that in 1.4.3 would serve to
eliminate this error.

Not just Arthur: what do you all want? The codes stable, I just hadn't
meant to introduce it in 1.4 at all.
