Hunter said in a previous mail, that current does of course the right 
thing and asks the rpm for version, package name etc.

But I suspect that the filename for the .hdr File, which would be stored 
inside the getPackageHeader directory is created based on the filename. 
I use Version 1.4.2:

[root@etprd02 etc]# rpm -q current
current-1.4.2-1
[root@etprd02 etc]#


When I stored the .rpm Files as they came from IBM in the channel, I got 
the following filenames:

TIVsm-API.i386.rpm

and inside getPackageHeader:

TIVsm-API.i386.hdr


I then renamed the rpm's so I got:
TIVsm-API-5.1.5-0.i386.rpm

and inside getPackageHeader:

TIVsm-API-5.1.5-0.i386.hdr



My proposal would be to created the filenames for the .hdr files in the 
getPackageHeader directory on basis of the rpm query instead of 
filename. This would solve inconsistencies between filenames of .rpm'S 
and their internal data.
