I don't think I've encountered this particular bug, at least not
consistently, but it sounds like a nasty Heisenbug waiting to happen and
I'd appreciate if it could be fixed. (I'd also like for the bug I
reported in my "weird traceback" mail to be fixed too, but that one
doesn't prevent up2date from applying updates so it's not as important.)

IMO stabilizing/completing 8.0 client support is more important than
having 8.0 server support.
