Actually, the hangup right now is neither John nor I can figure out why the mod_python in RHL 8.0 doesn't run the current code the same way 2.7.8 did under RHL 7.3. If anyone knows the secret to getting the accesshandler and the typehandler functions working under mod_python 3.0+, PLEASE give John or I a shout - I've posted that to the mod_python mailing list and got nowhere.
