I think the push from Red Hat is for people to look into their upcoming 
Advanced Workstation Product which I am guessing will have a lifetime 
similar to Advanced Server. However, if that is the case.. they may be 
putting the cart before the horse a bit.

In the end, it comes down to what they can afford to support for how 
long. The source code for things change so much so quickly in the 
OpenSource world that a year is very much like 4 years elsewhere.
