Re: New beginnings

The release-1_4_x-brach and the main trunk are both working on 8.0
compatibility.  the branch is strictly 1.4.x code - i.e. shelf backend
only.  The main trunk is the new PostgreSQL / PySQLite backend, but also
for 8.0.
