For feature requests and bug reports RC15 RC16. Please use the forum at http://forum.ultravnc.net/ Happy it's solved. Thanks Rudi for pin-pointing this one before I even have time to look at the code... So it looks like UltraVNC is still VNC compatible after all... ;) I knew it was necessary a bug as we -of course- still fully support the "standard" RFB protocole. The only things we have changed in the Ultra RFB implementation (to my knowledge...) - We use 2 different minor version numbers (4 and 6) to be able to detect if we are dealing with UltraVNC on both sides (so we a viewer knows if the server supports FT and MSLogon for instance). But it doesn't prevent UltraVNC to be compatible with others "standard" VNC distributions as Ultra still uses major version number 3. That's right we could presumably have used some new rfbEncoding extensions instead but now it's done... - We've added a bunch of RFB protocole extensions to support: FileTransfer Chat Cache Encoding Local Cursor Server Scaling SingleWindow ... We don't pretend these extensions to become part of the standard RFB specs (even if we would be honored if that was the case). We've just added them because we needed them. The important thing is that UltraVNC can communicate with other VNC distribution at the standard level. And that's actually the case. Sam Georges Berenger a écrit : > That works great!
