What the use of vnchooks.dll ?

For the last weeks, I have been ignoring the vnchooks.dll, that appears
to be used, under certain conditions (unknown to me), by the winvnc
server.
I am always using the Mirror driver. I was wondering what the
vnchooks.dll is for and if I need it at all.
