The hookdll give hints about the possible changes. It does this by hooking messages to the windows. The hookdll can internal use different methods, the reg settings help to use the correct method. The hookdll is not needed, vnc can also use other detection methods 1) Pure polling 2) Hookdll (all) 3) vncdrv (w2k>) 4) ddihook (9.x) For feature requests and bug reports RC15 RC16. WhenI'm debugging, all I copy is winvnc.exe and vncviewer.exe. Everythingelse is just frosting on the cake.Jeremy is right, the mirror driver is MUCH better if you can use it.Sean> -georges> > > -----Original Message-----> From: [email protected]> [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Sean> Covel> Sent: Wednesday, April 27, 2005 7:20 PM> To: [email protected]> Subject: Re: [Ultravnc-list] What the use of vnchooks.dll ?> > For feature requests and bug reports RC15 RC16.
