For feature requests and bug reports RC15 RC16. Please use the forum at http://forum.ultravnc.net/ Damn....sorry for the bad english and horrible spelling :) -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Rob Hoerning Sent: Wednesday, May 25, 2005 10:21 AM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [Ultravnc-list] Connecting to listening viewer w/o installing server For feature requests and bug reports RC15 RC16. Please use the forum at http://forum.ultravnc.net/ I install vnc and setup the key. Then do an export of the registry setting. Then within Innosetup, inport the registery and compile. Using Inno it will then put those registry settings out there for the user, then run the reverse connect to your ip. Work like a dream. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Sean Covel Sent: Wednesday, May 25, 2005 9:45 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Ultravnc-list] Connecting to listening viewer w/o installing server For feature requests and bug reports RC15 RC16. The vncviewer.exe has that parameter. The server does not. You'd need to run the server as an application, not as a service. The rc4.key doesn't need to be configured if you are using the _noreg version. Look at the "testviewer.bat" and "testserver.bat" that come with the plugin for a way to set an environment variable pointing to the key file. In fact, if the server had the /dsmplugin parameter like the viewer, you could use those 2 batch files to start up UltraVNC for you. > Finally, here's my question: Is there any way of preconfiguring winvnc > so that the initial configuration on the remote machine is not necessary ? > Yes and no. You really need to get Rudi to add the /dsmplugin parameter to the server, then you'd be all set.
