We started to experiment with SCIII
SC<--->proxy<--->Firewall<-->repeater<--->Firewall<-->proxy<--->viewer
The only port used is 443 or your standard https or socks proxy (auto detect)

http://forum.ultravnc.net/viewforum.php?f=23

This special version of viewer/SC/repeater has buildin SSL encryption.
Most corporate firewalls don't see the difference between real https and SSL,
they can't decrypt it.

Current status is stable, but not stable enough for any production.

The SSL repeaters stop sometimes working (still need to track it)
When viewer connection fails, he sometimes keep running in background, blocking
next connection (check task manager)

We have an open repeater running at uvnc.com, you can use this for experiments.
The preconfigured SC, check your current https proxy and connect to uvnc.com repeater
Check viewer (jpg) for corresponding settings.

All files can be downloaded to make your own SC and run your own repeater.
Read link for needed free ports.

For feature requests and bug reports RC15 RC16. Please use the forum at http://forum.ultravnc.net/Hi Massimiliano,Have a look at SingleClick: http://doc.uvnc.com/addons/singleclick.htmlIt takes some time to understand how to create and configure SingleClickutility (I don't think there is an documentation in Italian), but it is veryimpressive when done properly.The user needs permissions to download and run the executable. You may needto set it to use port 80 or port 443 to get through their firewall, and youwill need to have a VNC Viewer in Listen Mode on the same port. I use port443 and the Repeater: http://doc.uvnc.com/addons/repeater.html - but thiswas for a 12-person help desk and may be more than you need to worry about.Regards,David.-----Original Message-----From: [email protected][mailto:[email protected]]On Behalf [email protected]: Thursday, 7 July 2005 6:16 PMTo: [email protected]:!
