File Transfers

Hello again folks,
I was poking around again in the file transfer stuff and had a few 
questions.
Anyone have any experience with transferring large files (1GB or 
higher)? Will it even be able to handle anything that large? uVNC's file 
transfers seem terribly slugish to me (presumably because of the 
overhead involved and such), but is anyone else seeing this or is it 
just my system? I confess I've not upgraded to 1.0.1 yet out of 
lazyness. I mention that because I'm hoping that someone will tell me 
that version contains near-magical file transfer capabilities.
