This is a genuine X-11 server, that can be configured as any other X11 server. Hence, walk your way trough the vnc-server script and see what options are used at the Xvnc binary. Also keep in mind that Xvnc 3.x implements an older version of X11 than Xvnc 4.x. And in the end, the Xvnc binary you are using can be compiled to use less resources or to provide more features.
