Seattle to Portland Wi-Fi Link?

Hey, it's summer!

Here in Portland, we're hosting the Open Software Conference
which wraps up today. I talked to quite a few people about Community LANs.
Rob Flickenger was there.

So was Matt Westervalt of Seattle Wireless
(www.dailywireless.org/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=1224) We
talked about BARWN as a model. I think is a great idea, well thought out.

Don Park at PersonalTelco is doing something similar but the 200mW Senao
with an 8dB omni only gets a 1/2 mile with a +14dB client which is
disappointing. Don thinks something much be screwed up.
