Prove me wrong, please, but I've never seen a shirk-wrapped AP that can 
be told to act as a gateway to an ibss network. Which would be really 
nice because I'm stuck with two 802.11g laptops and a 11b base station, 
which really slows things down. Now, put all that gear in ad-hoc mode 
and there's no problem, internet access is 11MB and peer to peer is 
55MB instead of the lowest common speed.
