Hidden node

Hi ! Kindly, i want to ask your help for this matter i need in my company: I need to setup the following configuration: NODE <--> NODE <--> NODE A B C A and C have direcctional antenas pointing to B. B has an omni antenna. All of the are AP (none are laptops or wireless cards). Distance from B to A is about 550 mts (that's 1650 ft). Distance from B to C is 120 mts (360 ft). A and C doesn't have LOS. That's why i need to use B. It's something like this: B |-| | | | | C | | - A | | | | |-| | | | |GATEWAY ----------------------------------------------------------- I plan to use B as AP, and having A and C clients of B. As long as i remember this could create a problem known as the "hidden node" where A and C can't speak directly each other and can minimize performance. The problem is that what i need is connectivity between A and C mainly because A is a network with about 50 LAN users and B has only 8, but the gateway is located on C. I read that by using CTS/RTS the hidden node problem could be cleared. Is this rigth ? will it work? i read to that this add a big overhead and possible delay. I only need about 1 mbps (but i would love to use 11 mbps). In a near future i plan to add another D node in a very similar configuration to A (needing connectivity to C and no LOS to C, then pointing to B). Think of B as the main antenna because of the heigth (about 90 ft). A and C have about 21 ft and 30 ft each). Finally, can someone tell me of having B as AP and all other as "AP clients" has the same performance and reliability than having B as bridge point to multipoint and all others as bridge point to point ? i would like to use AP mode because this way in the future i could have some occasional laptop users in the AP (B) area.
