I got a Senao 2611 AP with the hopes of using it on medium distance
(several hundred feet) links but I found that mine had a noisy RF
output. Every client card I tested it with had a very difficult time
reading the signal and many of them reported very high noise figures
(as high or higher than the signal!). I've mentioned this before
on the list, I believe.

Anyhow, I got a much less powerful D-link AP and at least I can do
WiFi around the house now. IMHO the Senao AP is a POS. On the
other hand, my Senao cardbus adapter seems to work pretty well.
Or at least, it does in fact function.
