I don't know of a comparison, but please be careful when buying and using
an amplifier on 802.11b. Make sure that the amplifier you buy is
bi-directional, that is, that it has receive as well as transmit
amplification. Otherwise, your signal will go beyond the range at which
you can hear a response, and it will clutter up the bands.

Hyperlinktech sells some decent amps, I am trying to think of the other
place I know of that makes some decent ones as well.
