Propagation models explanation

Hello everybody !

I want to ask for your help. I've been trying to understand the 
walfish-bertoni model for UHF propagation but haven't been able to do it. 
Unfortunately i haven't been able to get the original book or publication 
from IEEE. I only have some minor explanation for the model from some 
website on internet (mainly in italian). Does anyone of you knows where 
can i find a presentation or PDF where this model is well explained ? i 
Would appreciate your help as i'm in need to perform some calculations 
with it because we need to predict the behavior and coberture for a WI-FI 
deployment in my city and this is the modle whch approaches better to the 
situation.

Unfortunately i neither have access to some US$45.000 software which can 
predict it. I must make it manually. But i have found differences between 
the document's i've found on the internet and i want to be sure to do use 
the correct formulas.
