Hi everybody, I'm looking for a good 802.11b card to do some wardriving on a laptop running FreeBSD. I'm a complete wireless newbie, but from what I know I'll need a wireless card with a connector for an external antenna and a card that supports raw monitoring mode (that is what the kismet README told me). The kismet README also told me that the chipsets known to work on FreeBSD are: atheros, prism2, wsp100, drone, wtapfile, and pcapfile. Does anyone have a recommendation for a card that uses one of these chipsets, has a connector for a pigtail, and is inexpensive? Thanks in advance, Douglas Richardson _______________________________________________ BAWUG's general wireless chat mailing list [unsubscribe] http://lists.bawug.org/mailman/listinfo/wireless
