Installing BAT on FreeBSD 4.6.2

I'd like to get BAT running on my FreeBSD 4.6.2 system, but am not sure how to proceed with the installation process. The install.sh script only recognizes installations for FreeBSD 4.4. What is needed to get BAT running on a FreeBSD 4.6.2 system?
