I remember reading somewhere that the new wep2 stuff uses a much larger IV (something like 128 bits)... If they are in fact doing that, I think the same attack will still apply, since there will still be ivs that can setup the prga so the first byte is only still dependant on 2 or 3 values (for e^2 or e^3 probabilities, just a different B offset), but may decrease or increase the probability of capturing a weak iv (will require some more research).
