Re: integration of mods into tree

It's their implementation of the scan mode stuff. It's cleaner than the
stuff that I've been doing in my mods, makes userland coding easier, and
also has symbol support. It's pretty decent and I figure once we switch over
to that implementation it'd make it a lot easier to get native bat support
in netbsd.
