BAT CVS and NetBSD 1.6.1

With NetBSD 1.6.1 and FreeBSD 4.8 out, and OpenBSD 3.3 around the corner, will we be seeing a new release of BAT soon? Also what happened to CVS? It's been gone for a while now. Will it ever be coming back?
