Hello,

I just bougt an Avaya Silver wireless NIC, and wanted to try
it out with dstumbler. But when I run dstumbler, it prints out
an error message at the bottom of the screen - "error: unable
to ioctl device socket: Invalid argument".

I'm running FreeBSD 5.1-REL. I haven't modified my kernel
source (since I seem to remember it not being needed anymore...
someone please correct me if I'm wrong about that?)

The card works fine otherwise, I can associate to networks and
transfer data.

Also, it doesn't seem to matter if I ifconfig the card up first.

Hope someone knows what's going on...

Thanks,
