help

I'm a total newb to wireless and FreeBSD.
I have FBSD 4.6 installed on my laptop which is a Sony Viao F650 with an
Orinoco Gold wireless card.
I'm trying to install dstumbler with no luck.
I tried to find the answer from the list, but wasn't successfull.  The only
thing that I got was to install source-mods first.
when I try to install it by running "./install.sh" , I get

checking for host os...unsupported

** unable to determine host os **
the installation script was either unable to determine you os, or your
current os isn't supported.  if your system is
supported, try specifying it when running ./install.sh <os>.

What am I suppose to do?
I looked thru the website and could find what order I'm suppose to try
install the toos.  Does it matter?
When I look inside the source dir, I see that freebsd-4.4 is listed but
that's it.
Please help, I really want to get this setup.
