You're asking for a lot, aren't you? Check out Demarc--their 100Mw and 200 Mw Prism 2.5 cards have external antenna connections, and supposedly they are going to be FCC-certified with Demarc's antenna "any day now." tmr -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Mike Avery Sent: Tuesday, December 10, 2002 2:18 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [bsd-wireless] FreeBSD box as an Acess Point, again On 28 Nov 2002 at 9:31, Luke Schapel wrote: > Mike Avery wrote: > > Fourteen faq's later... as well as a few questions here, I'm still > > not getting it. I've been off tilting at other windmills lately, so I haven't had time to followup on this. Another person commented they had problems with Prism 2 based cards. Updating the firmware in the DWL-650 proved fruitless. So, does anyone know of a Prism 2.5 based PCMCIA card that has an external antenna jack? I need to tie to an external antenna, and I also need to be legal....
